How do I get a ticket?

This is a free event, no tickets required. Entry is limited and on a first-in, best-dressed basis.


Bring a cushion or picnic rug to sit on if you plan to be there for a few hours.

Arrive early to secure a shaded spot.

Is there First Aid on site?

Yes. We have first aiders on site. Ask any staff member or volunteer if you need assistance. In an emergency call 000

Do I need cash?

Some stalls may prefer card, but it’s handy to bring a small amount of cash for markets.

What happens if it rains?

The event goes ahead in most weather conditions. Please bring a raincoat or umbrella if rain is forecast.

Can I bring food and drinks?

Yes, picnics are welcome. Please note:

  • No glass containers

  • No BYO alcohol

There will also be plenty of food vendors and cafés nearby.

Is the event accessible?

Yes. Yagan Square has accessible pathways and facilities. ACROD bays and accessible toilets will be available. For additional assistance, speak to one of our event staff on the day.

Are there toilets on site?

Yes. There will be:

  • Portable toilets

  • ACROD accessible toilets

Additional public toilets within surrounding area

What should I bring with me?

  • Cushion or picnic rug for comfort

  • Water bottle

  • Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses

  • Light jacket or raincoat depending on the weather

  • Reusable shopping bag for Circular Markets

Where do I catch the train or bus?

Yagan Square is right next to Perth Train Station and above Perth Busport, making public transport the easiest way to arrive.

  • Use Transperth Journey Planner for exact routes.

  • Free CAT buses operate throughout the CBD and Northbridge.

Where do I park?

There are multiple parking options close to Yagan Square:

  • CPP Car Parks (e.g. Citiplace Car Park, 1 Roe Street)

  • Wilson Parking – 18 Roe St (open 24/7)

  • Street parking and other paid car parks in Perth and Northbridge

👉 Arrive early, as bays will fill quickly during peak times. ACROD bays are available in nearby car parks.
