11am World Record Attempt

Perth will make history this October with The Great Global Mend, an (unofficial) world record attempt uniting hundreds of community members to repair clothes simultaneously. Spearheaded by FabPatch along with 16 Local Government Councils and the Circular Fashion Festival, the initiative highlights Perth’s leadership in sustainable fashion, community innovation, and the global movement toward a circular future.

If you would like to take part, please bring your sewing kits, a garment that requires minor repair and bring it back to life.

Alternatively, limited free patches provided and available to purchase.
