I’m Natalia Rodrigo, creative designer behind Beads ‘n Pods. More than 10 years ago I started to collect used coffee capsules, to then transform them into unique pieces of wearable art. Each piece has more than ingenuity and coffee pods, more than colour and character, it has a story and a message of sustainability within; empowering people to find their unique style and wear their values.

Breads ‘n Pods strives to reduce the environmental impact of single use coffee capsules. Millions of coffee capsules are disposed every day, and it would take hundreds of years for them to decompose if disposed carelessly. So, used coffee capsules are collected from homes and offices around Perth, pods are opened and emptied, nurturing the earth with coffee grounds. Then carefully transformed into special tokens to be cherished or shared.
