New Art Work, Wearable Art, bespoke unique textile accessories and clothing available from ' 'What the Trees said to Her' Exhibition, Blank Wall Gallery, Raine Sqaure 1-15th of October.
Passionately against Fast Fashion, Cassi-Jo Davis presents 'What the Trees said to Her' an exhibition of works made from discarded textile remnants, paint and embroidery to promote the circularity of unwanted clothing, showing how fine art and wearable art can be created from recycled textiles. Influenced by Art Nouveau, Religious and Spiritual Art her work is richly coloured and decadently layered, celebrating the beauty of Nature and the Feminine. She blurs the lines between Art and Fashion.
